The VirtualBox Guest Additions ISO are a set of device drivers and system applications for the guest operating system that optimise the guest for better performance and usability.

Mac OS X

The ISO image is located here: 

 /Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso
  • Open up the Applications folder
  • Right-click on VirtualBox and select "show package contents"
